Happy New Year's eve!

There's one good reason why some people (even if they don't want) would celebrate Christmas and New year-it is because of the children. Just looking at their smiles and happy faces, listening to their singing and endless questioning makes the holiday season more meaningful. Oh! don't we all wish for a bright future for all of them.

I have chosen the song --"What a wonderful world" (I like the faster version together with somewhere over the rainbow but I cannot find it right now) for New Year's eve because this is how I see the world inspite and despite of whatever problems I may have and what is happening around us. Here I go again?.....Well, I just wantto smile and laugh today. and hey! I have just wished and prayed that tonight we'll be a happy celebration for all of us.

My own Phoenix

I have more time to do this today. I got inspired of the man I have started creating and then suddenly it was not really a man but a bird. I was deceived by his looks. Now, I am confused if I like him as a bird more than a man. But hey, I can have them both but, only one at a time.

One night, I have dreamt of a woman walking in what seems like a labyrinth. She was wearing a white flowing gown with a long train. She had an orange umbrella because the sun was shining brightly . It was a short dream and I didn't know where it started and ended. The image is how it was in my dream. What do you think about it?

Their names are Betina Coleen and Jedidiah Owen. They are the children of my younger sister. Betina is older than Jed but she is smaller than him. Betina’s bones are slowly growing and she is deaf and mute. It has been our dream to take her to an specialist in USA . My sister’s husband was taking care of them for more than 3 years of unluckily finding a good job until only middle of this year. My sister is working as a dietitian in the community health center and unfortunately, she has diabetes. We are not giving up and continously searching for help. I have written a lot of people and organizations who might be of help, but we were not so lucky. One answer I got is that they prefer to help the children from Africa. . . . .The last time I saw them was two years ago but, I try to call them as much as I can.

worn out!

This is how I felt when I woke up this morning. I felt like a very old woman standing up with both hands on the waist and the back curved like a snail. I was on my red pajamas since I wanted to bring back my lost christmas spirit and imagined those shining gold christmas balls on my body, some pine leaves and have walked slowly going to the kitchen singing " ....dashing through the snow, lala lala la la..."

Christmas spirit

End of last month, I was hoping I can do some changes in my site or draw and paint more or make a lot of christmas decorations. I was even looking forward to draw a christmas card on the first day of December but, unfortunately I got sick and I am still until now. For 12 days I did not sleep properly maybe like an hour or so only. It was terrible. Today I feel better but, I am still coughing and a bit tired. Anyway, I have lost that christmas spirit and I have tried my best to make it come back by drawing something today. Funny because, I have done this today in installments, for 10 minutes every half an hour. Anyway, I hope to be well soon, how about tomorrow(?).

Finally, she was able to go around the castle (inside and out)she and her father would see from a distance everytime they are sailing during the summer. Here, she was taking a break and enjoying the view around her. She is a very good violinist and when their company was called to play in the year's Royal ball, she was more than delighted and happy.

I hope to be able to visit all the entries when I get better. My cold and cough have really put me down. But hey, I have started taking my meds-finally. I hope to be able to get some sleep after more than a week of painful sleepless nights.

I saw this guy waiting at the doctor´s lounge today. He was so cute in his attire and it looks like it was new. I have stared at him for so long without his knowledge, hiding myself at the back of a big rubber tree.

I have slept very little last night again and I am still coughing but, I have decidec to go back to work today.

Which one is the original?

I haven't slept well since friday evening. I have no fever anymore but my colds are not coming out and I am starting to cough. I hope I can go to the doctor tomorrow.

Beautiful Caroline

I am down witha cold, muscle pain, sore throat and headache. As much as I wanted to be in bed, I cannot because I am irritated by my running nose and all, that I cannot rest and sleep. At least, I was able to buy some instant food the other day before I got sick. You know, I am sick and my flat is on the top floor and here I cannot almost see the rain pouring down because of the grey skies. Brrrrr-----------must be so cold out there.

I was at Steve's site and he had posted his entry for The Camel Exchange challenge and so I visited the site and thought of doing the challenge, too. Caroline have shared half of her photo in The Camel Exchange and so here is my entry for this challenge. I miss my clematis plant from my earlier life but it's good I have taken pictures of all my plants. Anyway, I like Carol's picture it's beautiful just like the clematis flower.

Mighty Manny Pacquiao

I grew up in the Philippines where boxing and basketball are the favorites sports in every household. I am not really fond watching boxing because I cannot take looking at the punching and hitting and striking between two people. But, I would like to share to you about Manny Pacquiao. He has been in the headlines in many newspapers in the Philippines and some parts of USA because of his winnings as a world featherweight champion in boxing. I will never understand how they can choose to fight and the sport itself but, I have learned to admire their courage and strength.
