vacant

This is where she usually hang out on a starry night like this.....and now it is vacant........ October was the month I lost a very dear friend of mind who died of breast cancer some years ago. She was a fine eye doctor and a wonderful person. She was one of the reason why I always come back to my homeland..... We had lots of wonderful times together and she liked ballroom dancing. Uhmmmm She must be up there while I look at the stars tonight. HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone.

Bliss of solitude

Solitude terrifies me once in a while because I was raised in a lively atmosphere.... I only enjoy reasonable solitude while I draw and paint, when I am travelling alone or when I am in the midst of the beauty of a landscape. I find bliss of solitude when vivid memories flashback and my heart will be filled with pleasure......

I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude. —Thoreau, Henry David

Repair 2

I came up with this illustration because of my nieces - who have been reading the twilight series book and have been constantly talking about it and the coming movie. Here in this illustration is Edward the vampire who has been trying to repair whatever flying prowess he has. They have encouraged me to read the book but, I really don't have time now. I still have 3 pending books to read. I saw the movie trailer and it seem interesting. I might see the movie instead.

Just like the almost purple red flowered Ceratostigma -- she is but another valuable late bloomer.

Late

Some women are blessed with a late pregnancy.
It's almost midnight over here, and I have to sleep soon before it's too late to go to bed because I have to wake up soon. I was invited to a nice dinner because today was the day I got married (but no more....)Have a nice weekend everyone. 'catch you later.....
Life is a race, where some succeed,
While others are beginning;
'Tis luck, at times, at others, speed,
That gives an early winning.
But, if you chance to fall behind,
Ne'er slacken your endeavor;
Just keep this wholesome truth in mind:
'Tis better late than never!
~ John Dyer

For blessing ever wait on vitruous deeds,
And though a late, a sure reward succeeds.

strings

I am getting ready for my halloween illustrations-and this is one of them. You can see that she is trying to figure out how can she cut the end of the string for her gown without my help.....I wonder what she's up to.
