help

Their names are Betina Coleen and Jedidiah Owen. They are the children of my younger sister. Betina is older than Jed but she is smaller than him. Betina’s bones are slowly growing and she is deaf and mute. It has been our dream to take her to an specialist in USA . My sister’s husband was taking care of them for more than 3 years of unluckily finding a good job until only middle of this year. My sister is working as a dietitian in the community health center and unfortunately, she has diabetes. We are not giving up and continously searching for help. I have written a lot of people and organizations who might be of help, but we were not so lucky. One answer I got is that they prefer to help the children from Africa. . . . .The last time I saw them was two years ago but, I try to call them as much as I can.

Isay, that's such a sad story, poor little mite, I hope that fortune smiles down upon your family. It's a beuatiful illustration of the two of them, really is.
Hope all else is well and that you have a nice weekend, xo

It actually makes me angry seeing the huge fund raising on TV for 'popular' causes when there are so many close to home that need help. As you must, after comments like "prefer to help the children from Africa". People only have to open their eyes to the 'invisible' in their own neighbourhoods if they truly are wanting and able to give. Your IF submission has touched me deeply.

PS: Thank you for Birthday wishes XOX

Betina and Jedadiah look like great kids, beautiful piece.
I don't know, this is heartbreaking, and I am praying for a good outcome here.
