party of 8

First of all, I want to take this opportunity to greet each and everyone a peaceful and wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration.
This post is actually a continuation of the topic this week at IF which is clandestine. It was about a woman that I met in the past, who was working in a crisis center. I don’t know her personally but when we had this chat for some hours one day, she talked passionately about her job. She has told me her own feelings for women who have experienced abuse and violence in their lives. That it was her choice to work there in a graveyard shift wherein most of the victims decided to show up in the doorsteps of the center, in the darkness of the night. I was touched by her stories and every encounter she had experienced, and I could imagine how she would open her arms so widely to welcome each and every woman-----just to assure them that everything would be alright……..

In my thoughts when I finished this illustration, was also about how I am experiencing God in my life. How He always opened His arms so wide to embrace me every time I fall. That scene will always stay so vivid in my mind because He came to my dream one day. That was also the inspiration of the text in my profile.

I am also sharing with you a forwarded message I received the other day…………
“There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore...
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”

Today in my reading table is a quote from “Pastor Joseph Prince’s Destined to reign Devotional book”----God looks beyond what man sees and says about you, and He has dreams for you that are bigger that you can imagine.
1 Samuel 16:7
“……For the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

clandestine

She has to get away secretly during the night and come back before the sun rises in the morning......

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. I hope I can make this illustration brighter before new year's eve or when the fireworks' up in the skies-----where she might be able to reveal her secret.....

similar(ities)

I'd told a part of this story before. I have two younger sisters and we only have one year difference in our ages. During our childhood days, my mom and my eldest sibling(my sister) likes to dress us up in the same style of clothes, same style of shoes, handkerchief, bags and even hats . They also brought us to parties and we danced the Hawaiian dance. Ohhh we were such obedient girls. I cannot remember the time we started having our own styles or when we decided to outgrew their ideas.
Actually,we are not really the best of siblings. We fought a lot, we pulled each others hair, throw things to each other and make faces to each other etc. Somehow even though we believed we have similarities, we knew back then that we have our own identities to build up. And now that we've all grown up we just laugh off whatever foolish things we've done before and as what I’d told in my 100 things about me, “nowadays we don't pull each others hair anymore but we just criticize...." he he he

By the way, I was tagged and I hope to be able to post them later. My apologies.
