I woke up so early today with lots of thoughts about what happened the last few weeks. It was really tough time for me and, I am still struggling to open up how am I feeling.....Even the weather over here is like an up and down thing, rain, sun, rain, sun. ...... But, I am looking forward to a short trip all by myself next month and hopefully, things will get better. One good thing is that I have not stopped painting...and mostly flowers. But, yesterday I have finished a painting with all round patterns in it. I'll post it some other time. Right now, here's one of my puzzle that is maybe a little hard to put together.

They like playing hide and seek in the backyard until the sun has already set. He always win and has not told his half-sister where he usually hide. He will just tell her that he likes his skin color a lot.

EXPLANATION

This is a painting that I did for a special project that is meant to help very young people. I don't think I should tell about the story behind this painting hence, the mystery on it..... I could have asked their permission but I did not tried asking since there was something about it in my contract. Most of their projects were succesful and that's what matters afterall.

My color for this week is really green. I wear green shirt, green hat and using a green bag (but not all at the same time ...) Actually, I like big green rubber plants.

When I was small, I watched Popeye together with my 2 sisters and my older brother. He was my favorite cartoon character then. Actually, they had once called me Olive because I was so thin. Later on, Sesame street became my favorite. Watching sesame street became a habit that the muppets became my inspiration in my early childhood drawings. Some years ago, I found a t-shirt that became my favorite because Elmo was in it and, I am missing my shirt because I had to throw it away when it was already unusable. Anyway, do you have a favorite t-shirt?

fear of rejection

I had a couple and more of experiences where I was rejected especially when I was younger. My bedroom then, was not really well lighted that the view outside the window doesn’t give so much light and, everytime I would be rejected or some of my works, I would sat down in my bed in the dark for hours. I liked it when I cried because it takes a shorter time to recover and do something else afterwards. My bedroom is also a source of refuge for me especially when I was not living alone in the house. I create almost everything in my bedroom especially in expressing my feelings by drawing or painting or just anything that I can create. Weird.I always scattered everything in my bed or even does some painting with white linens on. Nowadays, my bedroom is so well lighted that the sun and moon makes me lie down and read or sleep or just listen to some music, or just admiring the moon during nights when it is shining full.

What are little boys made of?.........

When I was in high school, my cousin who lives nearby would asked me to babysit his two little boys. It was really tiring because you know how little boys are, but they were so cute then and, I like talking and listening to all their stories and questions ohhh but not, when they were jumping around and when they started fighting and crying......

And, I like looking at them when they have new clothes and shoes and their smiles so big.....anyway, i hope you like my second drawing for this week IF's topic.

I hope you will like my entry for this week. I like white and all the other colors I can match with it. And you know what? I have been enjoying the sun for days now and even the moon in the night....eventhough I wake up so early now because, there is already sunlight in my bedroom at 4:00 am. So, I just paint and paint....and I have finished some flower paintings and are all over my place. The sun is setting before 22:00 pm and I have been admiring the view from my kitchen window. There will be more light later during the summertime. ohh I just love summer over here. HAVE A NICE WEEKEND EVERYONE!

your paradise

I learned the word paradise when I was little and they said it was also heaven..... And they said it is a lovely place. As I grew up, I used the word heaven when I had eaten some delicious food.....

This drawing is taken from a Christmas card that I made two years ago. I just changed it a bit. (I have this terrible headache the whole day today that I don't think I can draw this weekend......)I have been longing to go to the countryside. The memories of my childhood experiences keeps on coming back and this drawing is one of those. ....
