(Isay's) garden
I call this place a paradise. The place is surrounded by mountains and water and black gold trees. And the trees are called garden because during the day, white flowers that has a wonderful scent plus green beautiful leaves are flowing and adorning the place. They are blessing the water because it never ran wild, and it gives the mountains light, and the blue color would reflect upward covering the whole place.
This is a painting on canvass I still have to finished and started almost 3 weeks ago. The idea of my topic is flowing endlessly in my mind, but somehow something is preventing me to finish it so that I can continue the story by starting a new painting.....By the way, the gold in the trees is not so visible because this file is small.

and you know what they say.. most great artists mostly never feel their paintings are complete..
i think i heard that somewhere tho.. 8)
There's gold in them thar trees!
i am loving this marissa! i can see you enjoyed painting this , the shading is exquisite and i love the trees so much!
Marissa - this is magical! The tree has a very solid, ancient look and then the sky and flowers and leaves are so delicate. The shadow of the mountains in the background creates a feeling of majesty and your angelic figure seems to float in the atmosphere. I find that if i let a painting sit for a whiel, the rest comes in its own good time... maybe let this one rest a bit before finishing it...
looks so peaceful...
Awww... I love this piece, Isay :D
