Tulips in distress

This is one of the acrylic paintings on canvass that I have done recently and I have called this one "tulips in distress".

"I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death". --Leonardo da Vinci

This is beautiful in itself, but it also reminds me of the wonderful painting that you gave me and which I treasure so very much.

Hope life is good, love and hugs, x

Oh a whole field of tulips in oranges, yellows and reds - I see how we have been working in the same colours here!

Looks gorgeous!

So pretty! Hard to think of spring right now, with temperatures in the teens and the snow coming down and piling up. Your lovely tulips certainly bring me closer to springtime than I thought was possible today.
