Float #2

This is another illustration for the topic float. You can see a portion of this illustration in the first one.

I had so much fun doing this drawing. The feeling of gladness for having accomplished another drawing or image or illustration whatever we call it, is the reason why I always look forward to fridays,,,, And knowing that many of you would take the time to say hello, write a sentence and even a longer one makes me more happier. I know that many people came across my blog and I will never know if I have touched or make another person sad or happier because many of you prefer not to say anything, but its okay. It also happens to me especially when I am only clicking randomly and have not much time in leaving a comment or two to everyone I visited. Sometimes, I am also tongue-tied when I am touchy or not feeling well. Each one of us is different and unique and I am sure that whatever is happening to us, in our surrounding, in the world we live in-life goes on....

I like all three, Isay! You're really on an illustration roll these days, and they just keep getting better and better. I love how you created the water on the bottom right, and the reflection on the glass on the left. This one is just plain old fun! You did a really fine job on the hand, and the background looks like a magical land in the shadows.

Thanks so much for all your support; you always leave me such nice comments. I truly appreciate it:>

I like this one the most! It reminds me of a bubble bath, but in cold icy water. This isn't bad because I'm only using my imagination like you have here. I like youe cutout lines and whispy background shapes :)

what amazes me is how a word can stir the wildest creative imagination. Love your surrealistic one.

This is one of my favorites of yours. I like the symbolism you've chosen to use.

Also for not always feeling able to comment because of where you are mentally and emotionally, this happens to me too. I understand. I hope this feeling passes for you soon, and I'll be thinking of you.

fun and whimsical sweetie, you're having rather intense cravings, eh? for the child, or the rootbeer, or both?:D also enjoyed your story about the "thief in the night"...kinda bittersweet...
cheers,
kerry

Sceptics may dispute ape language ability, but this picture brings to mind that quote by Washoe the Chimpanzee (who was learning sign language) - "Baby in my drink," when she found a doll in her cup :).

Is the hand reaching to steady the cup or drink it? This is a religious metaphor, right? ;)

The colour choices are perfect, and the wave rising on the left, destabilising the cup and the image, works perfectly, driving the cup towards the hand. Well drawn and an interesting concept!

i was just going with the flow of the colors on hand and it turned it to be like this tony!

ian-there is this another illustration in my mind with an accompanying true story together with my niece and about a big hand-yup it might have a religious meaning somehow....
