Escape Part 2

It was nice of everyone in leaving comments in my first entry. I wanted to see all the entries in IF but I just don't have enough time this weekend but I'll definitely do that in the days to come. I just hope you are all having a nice weekend. This is a continuation of my first entry. Here is where she ended up after running away or shall I say escaping....

this runaway bride - she kind of has a smile when she's escaping, and she still has a smile now. must've been the right decision for her... ;-)

Isay, your work keeps getting more and more lovely! I like your runaway bride! There's so much action is the first illustration with the whirpool of green behind her and the falling bouquet. She looks so satisfied and relaxed in the second illustration with her bare feet dangling in the water. The smile on her face says it all! I especially like the trees receding into the background.

Thanks for commenting on mine...I'm also way behind in visiting people this week. I have so much other work to do, so I guess I'll just look at a few each time I'm online.

Take care :>

the trees kinda represent how far the "runaway bride" had run just to escape. hmm.. wondering now... my mind says this illo represent your desire to run away from marriage ..althuogh i might be wrong. or do i see myself? tssk.

Stable and solid triangular construction, as compared against the swirling circular background of the previous picture. As a composition, I think this is much stronger - I like the naive perspective of the trees, the use of black and white and her expression. Escaped!
