Aging (Gracefully!)

The love of my life. I have made this sketch a long time ago and the pencil was smudge on some parts, was hard to erase to make it clean.

I always love when people post pictures of a loved one. your sketch is very nice, he looks like a happy person! You've done a nice job capturing his expression!

he looks like a jolly kind person...he really must be if you've described him as "the love of your life"...it's very sweet. i really liked your "fear" entry, how frightening! "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" really applies in your case, doesn't it!
cheers,
kerry

thank you atomicv...but i am not confident enough-it takes me a long time to come up with something presentable and one mistake i am overdoing is trying to make it always looks clean when i have actually done a lot of erasing....

to carolyn-nice of you visiting my blog and i would be looking at your own just after this.
thank you also!

have anice day both of you!

This and your "the joys of added number to age" picture make nice companion pieces on this theme (although they are different people). This is a lovely heartfelt portrait that tells so much about both you and your subject, growing older together.
