my heart that floats

Hi! It's going to be Valentine's Day soon and I have changed my banner already to the betterment of my health(?) :-) Before that is the chinese new year andthe year of the rat. I was born in the year of the rat. It would just depend on how active and fast the rat in me to get somewhere.....Anyway, here's another heart illustration. My heart is floating......

tales and legends

Maria Makiling. She is the most widely known diwata or fairy in Filipino Folklore. This illustration is my own version of her. . I read tagalog books about Philippine tales and legends in my younger years and she was one of my favorite. and here is the first link I found in the net. I had not much time to check on other links.
I am not well and still very tired, and my right eye is continously moving(winking etc) for three days now. Something is keeping me from not going to the doctor. I am not sure what it is.......Damn, I am so stubborn.

How I wish......

I am invisible........
I have never been so tired in my life and for weeks now. No one can see it physically only if you look at me closely, that you can see that my eyes are. I am not really transparent.... and many times you would see me smiling..... I should be sleeping now but, I was inspired by Clay Aiken's song Invisible(played it over and over again....) that I had to make a little collage of my past illustration and came up with a new one. I know, I could have made this better but I have to go to bed now. Wish me a good night sleep and sweet dreams that would make me glad, at least.......

Invisible by Clay Aiken
What are you doing tonight
I wish I could be a fly on your wall
Are you really alone
Still in your dreams
Why can't I bring you into my life
What would it take to make you see that I'm alive
[Chorus ]
If I was invisible
Then I could just watch you in your room
If I was invisible
I'd make you mine tonight
If hearts were unbreakable
Then I can just tell you where I stand
I would be the smartest man
If I was invisible(Wait..I already am)
I saw your face in the crowd
I called out your name
You don't hear a sound
I keep tracing your steps
Each move that you make
Wish I could be what goes through your mind
Wish you could touch me with the colors of your life
[Chorus ]
If I was invisible
Then I could just watch you in your room
If I was invisible
I'd make you mine tonight
If hearts were unbreakable
Then I can just tell you where I stand
I would be the smartest man
If I was invisible(Wait..I already am)
I reach outBut you don't even see me
Even when I'm screaming
Baby, you don't hear me
I am nothing without you
Just a shadow passing through...[ Repeat Chorus ]

Another 100%

I should be doing something else but, here I am sitting in front of the computer beside the window watching a little of snow melting away and, on the desk beside are old pictures that brought back memories of the past.
This story is a bit longer so I hope you can bear with me. I like exploring new places and so many years ago- when I thought I cannot travel outside my country, I decided to see many parts of the countryside in my homeland the Philippines. I have lots of friends back then, but there were few who can go with me. One of the willing companion I had was a missionary brother and we travelled in a beautiful place in the northern part, and found a hotel that was surrounded by mountains. It was a busy place like a market place when you are looking in the front of the hotel but at the back was the mountain and was green all over. We slept in the same room but we separated the beds into two and the first night, I discovered he was snoring so loudly that I always threw one of the pillows to wake him up and stopped his snoring. We ended up not sleeping so much during the night, and just slept away during our bus trips. We would sat near the window in front of the hotel and talked about what we saw and told so many stories to each other and this illustration was one of them. There was a hotel where the structure was like this. It was almost dawn and a guy was standing on the center where the elevator and stairs was and the glass windows was so clear. I imagined it was a handsome guy and he imagined it was a beautiful woman and we began creating stories about them. It was really fun. I always had some pen and paper with me because I liked to doodle and the original illustration of this one I gave to him. He said, now this was a creation of 100% imagination.
